Good Things Come to Those Who Wait....and Wait

Twenty-one years in the making. When you have a house that is 140 years old, your to-do-list piles up. See that upper right window? That has been a Plexiglas window since we moved in here 21 years ago! EVERY stinkin' year we had it on the 'list'. Today, Glen gave me the honor of knocking it out. I almost peed my pants with excitement. I feel weepy now. Oh how I've waited. Ohhhhh how I've waited.

Patience is a virtue.

  1. I know what you mean. Our house is over 100 years old also and so many things need to be done, but so little time. and money. Mostly money, because if I had the money I could hire to do the things even if I didn't have the time. get it?

  4. Hi Lisa, Rhon and Carol...
Thanks for the comments. Glenco has been diligently working on the front outside windows. I've had a relapse and I'm sick again!! So, I'm doing what I can inbetween rest breaks. I had such high hopes for the weekend. The list is never ever ever done. Oh well...no worry about ever being bored!

  6. Praying that you get better; I adore your clock! Vintage? Retro? LOVE your wall color and the white moulding (I think that's what it's called). Horray for getting the window done....it's always something, isn't it?! Hugs, Leslie
