Checking In...

Just wanted to quickly check in with you.

Thank you SO much for all of your well wishes.
I've been doing pretty good.
I had no Effexor withdrawals for the last few days, but right now?
My brain is loose and my ears are ringing loudly.
I'm covered in the chills and I feel ill.
About 9 more weeks in the taper plan, and I'll be Effexor free.
I really can hardly wait.

I had my second pap yesterday and now we wait for the results.

Other than that - life marches on.
It's a drizzly, dreary day here in NW Indiana and I adore it.
The smell of rain is wafting through the house, and everything is in slow motion.
I'm totally giving myself the green light to just 'be'.

This too shall pass - and in the meantime,
I'm savoring life like a hot Caramel Macchiato on a cold winter's day.

xo

I'm de-cluttering every day, eating clean, doing my yoga and tai chi, you changed my life so much so, I feel like I should fly there when you're not feeling well, cook, clean and tend to the chicks for you. . . I'm not going to, but I do think of how deserving you are of it. . . dayum Effexor, I'd like to kick it's arse...but you're doing a good job of it, keep it up sweet thing, this too shall pass! xoxo

  10. Good wishes for you. Glad you are tapering off....drugs are not good unless you really need them. Too many side effects! Sorry for all your recent troubles. I have been gone a lot but I just caught up on your posts. Godspeed.

  14. Praying you get good news. My daughter is going through something similar, and alls we can do is wait and pray. Sometimes these more concerning negative paps happen and then it works itself out. They have you wait out 6 mths to a year, for a watch. Torture. Glad your getting yourself off that darn Effexor. Ugh! Poor girl. Was a rainy day for sure. The up side was not having any mosquitoes to bother my sister in law and I. We chilled, chatted, munched and had some refreshments (not of the Chi type) on my new porch that my husband and son just built. A bday gift. Yes, life does march on, but embrace each day whether it be a prosperous one or not. It is truly a gift and the days go by so quickly. Take care Jaymes.
