Guess Where I'll Be Tomorrow?

Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I'll be heading north tomorrow.
I'm so relaxed, it feels like I've had a skeletonectomy.

I've missed my pot.
I've  missed my chickens.
I've missed Glenco.
I've missed Aaron.
(now don't go reading into me missing me chickens and me pot ahead of the G factor and Aaron!)
I want a pet crow.
I feel random.
And homesick.
I have one more road trip this year - in two weeks I'll be going to the National Poultry Show in Columbus Ohio.  After that is over, it's gonna take a crow bar to get me out of the house.
Are you ready to get nestled in for the winter?  I do believe I am.

I've missed y'all too!
I'm feeling so very grateful for all 'yous guys'.
Thank you - from the bottom of my heart for your comments and friendship.

  6. I love road trips, but I also am always ready to get home. Your heading back to the home of my heart, Indiana. Born a Hoosier always a Hoosier. Did you know that Indiana is 2nd behind Texas in being the most loyal to their state? Must run deep because I have lived in Michigan for over 30 years.

  7. Lordy be....you are so like me!

I am preparing today to fly south tomorrow to see my human kidos....as much as I love seeing my kids and g-babies, I hate leaving my little farmlife! I have spent the day cleaning pens, coops, filling feeders and waters and making notes to hubby on how to care for our feathered and furry children.....I was just folding laundry and talking to my pups (yes, we talk to them as if they are humans), promising them that after this out of towner that Mom will be home for the winter and no more trips for quite a while!

  11. Hi Jamye, so glad you are relaxed. Sounds like it was much needed. I didn't know the Ohio Poultry show was in Columbus. I must go too. So glad you mentioned that as it sounds like so much fun!

  13. So *that's* where our sunshine went today - Jayme is headed out of our fair state :( I know that homesick feeling though - could be why I'm such a hermit at heart :) Have a safe trip. Hugs & g'byes from MO till the next time! -Tammy

  14. Can a person HAVE a pet crow? They are beautiful.

It's gotten cold suddenly around here, I was hoping for an Indian Summer.

  19. Well, you know how I feel when a Bee turns up missing from her regular hood. I won't belabor the point. Just get home. And stay put. (Unless you're coming to see me, cause that's totally allowed.)

  21. How funny! You'll be coming to Columbus (I live 20 miles north) in 2 weeks for the Ohio National, and I will be headed to Indianapolis for the Percussive Arts Society's International Convention (to percussion folks what chicken shows are to chicken people).

  22. I'm not much of a traveler. Much more of a homebody. Better get in your nest for winter.
