It's Always Something.....

It's always something....I do declare.

My oven quit working.

Aaron has a 102 fever, and has missed the last two days of school.
Tomorrow is his last day of school.
Will his locker get cleaned out!?

My computer crashed today.

My throat is sore and I feel faint.

The porch is still unpainted.

We lost a banty hen to a predator last night.

The basement is semi-flooded.

I have one pair of jeans left that fit.

My breasts are MIA.

I'm here at the library logging my Bootcamp essentials so I don't get fined.
Oh ya - it's hardcore like that.

I brought Aaron a Moolatte.
I avoid foods with tthe words 'Moo' in them.
The oven repair man is at my house as I type.
I'll take the computer to Best Buy - it's still under warranty.

See, it's not all bad.
Except for my boobs and the dead chicken.
Amen.

  6. What the heck is getting into your chicken coop, or was it before you shut them in? Dang predators! I keep saying I want a dino chicken to counter attack the predators, but now they're admitting it's probably not likely:-/
Having no jeans that fit is a good thing, right?

  10. My grandma used to say "All sun and no rain makes a desert" I hope you get some sunny days soon though.

PS I completely agree with you on the moo thing. Hubby likes the Mega Moolatte and I refuse to get them for him. Just seems so degrading.

  11. Sounds like you are having a doozy of a week. I only had boobs when I was pregnant, and I don't miss them at all! They tend to get in the way for cloggers!

  22. Remember those old ads in the back of magazines that sold that little doohickey that you used to build up breasts? Eden something or other? Hmmm...maybe we can find you one on eBay...slightly used, or course. And..the poor dead chicken...I don't think there is a fix for him this side of Chicken Heaven. Hang in there...or down there...or whatever...xo Diana

  23. Law girl...you gone having some bad days. Boob thing reminds me of a story from days gone by. When my friends boy was just a tot, and she was getting out of the tub he said, "well just great Mom, now you've done it. You've went and lost your pee pee!"

I am sorry I forgot to send you that picture...I have to take them first! THe sand and sea colors. I'll do it tomorrow. I'm in bed typing on my laptop while my husband sleeps.

  33. Just read this post on Wednesday, so hope things are better by now! Bless your little heart! Hugs to Aaron. Sorry he is missing his last days of school. Sorry about the chicken-we just lost one to a fox!
My daughter's two little girls slept in my bed last night. I left on vacation this morning. Daughter just called to let me know the youngest barfed all over the place this morning - OH YAY!
As for your MIA boobs-I hear tell a good plastic surgeon can lift 'em up and pump 'em up if ya just gotta have 'em!

  34. Yikes! batten down your hatches close the drapes don't answer the door and make a cup of tea. Hugs Cheri

  35. You have my complete sympathy. Things are not well at my place either. Just keep thinking "its got to get better"

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm coughing my head off, oven broke last week, mother-in-law is not doing well in nursing home, my home town blew away, it's gotta get better, can't get much worse. Bless us and all we love.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, lady....you make me chuckle. Well, more than chuckle. I actually slapped my knee reading this post. No lie.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Isn't it always like that. Never just one thing. We are fighting a fox in our neck of the woods. Hubs chased him off one afternoon, left behind a chewed on chicken. Daughter number two came over and helped me bandage her, and she lives. But my hens scattered all over the place and it took me hours to find them. I never did find one, I think she was fox dinner. So my girls have to spend their days in the run again. They are so sad and it makes me so sad. Hope you all feel better soon!

  39. Ah, boobs...sometimes I even wonder if they are worth it. I'm a new follower and I love your blog!
