The journey continues gals -
My goal?
I did.
Not.
Make it.
I made the goal the Coach set for me, and then some - which is fantastic and I actually finished and graduated bootcamp - but I missed my own personal goal by just under 2lbs.
I could blame alot of things like my swollen pendulous bosoms, my impending period, my skipped workout, not enough water for a day or two, or the fact that I may or may not have licked that cinnamon roll -
but I'm not going to.
It is what it is - and I continue on.
I'm in a bit of a daze now - and will take a few days to decompress from the intensity of bootcamp - and then I'll start thinking about wall colors, weeds, the ant invasion in the camper, my broody hen, the fact that all the paint is falling off the outside of the house, and my bursting email account.
It's all happening perfectly.
I love my life.
THANK you for all of your thoughts, prayers, good vibes and fun comments.
To Nancy - yes - I do pick my nose in the car - but only on deserted, rural roads.

I just want to tell you how awesome you look even if you are 2 pounds short. And I love your hair cut! If you are only 1/2 through your weight loss you are going to be the cats meow when you make it to the end. Just saying. It took me months to loose 10 pounds.
ReplyDeleteJayms, you're gorgeous! Good job!
ReplyDeleteChris
When I first saw that picture I thought you might be running away from home, but you're not! In fact, you're gonna stay and get rid of those ants, tackle that paint job and maybe just maybe put your feet up a little and enjoy the rest of the summer. You've been down a long road Jayme and you found out some things about yourself. You found out that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to, but I bet you already knew that. What you might not have known is the influence you have on others to tackle the hardest thing in their lives. Maybe weight, or smoking or that nagging feeling of not being good enough. Cause we are! We are women and we.can.do.anything.
ReplyDeleteThey law, Jayme, that picture of you with the black shawl is the most gorgeous picture of you I've ever seen! WOW!

With so many other comments, I doubt you'll get around to mine!
ReplyDeleteBut I have to tell you how much I appreciate you for keeping it "real".
You are so unpretentious and open in your post. And that is why I love it!.
PS: you look smashing
Pounds, schmounds!
ReplyDeleteIt's what you DID do girl that matters, not what you didn't do. And besides it's not like you are never going to do it.
It was a goal that can still be reached and the time element was just arbitrary.
Onward! :)
my nintendo wii tells me that the body fluxuates by 2 lbs a day, so you may have lost them. 2 is a tiny number. But even if you didn't, you look fabulous. I think you already know that though.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
Congratulations! Well done! I smiled when I read your post. And two lousy pounds - pfft...nothing to hang your head about.
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you!!:)
