I thought I'd better let y'all know I'm still alive and kicking!
Thanks for all your emails and notes asking if I was ok....
I've spoiled you with the frequent blog posts, didn't I?
I'm fine.
Feeling rather quiet and drivel-less lately.
I know.
I didn't think it was possible either.
Been extra busy too.
Been extra busy too.
That cat's got my tongue.
Better than this one:
I'll be back very soon.
Thanks for missing me.
Hi Jayme!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad all is well with you, we have missed you this week! Maybe you could post another video soon, they are so much fun!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Velvia
I was getting worried! Jayme, please drivel. Your drivel is better than any well thought out blog post anywhere!
ReplyDeleteYou just recharge your batteries, Jayme, you are worth the wait!
ReplyDeletep.s. Whilst (a Jayme word, I do believe) you have been recharging, I have checked out Poor Richard's Almanac and enjoyed myself persuing the pages this evening. No wonder you think he is so much fun...Who else can pack so much uplifting wisdom into a single phrase!?
pps. Didn't know Poor Richard was his pen name. Is this common knowledge that one should already have known?!

Hmmmmm......and I don't even feel good! LOL....love it!
ReplyDeleteHubby and I have laughed and laughed over that one and use it constantly now!
Do miss ya....you always make me laugh!
Glad to see a post up from you up there in INDIANA! :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Hmmmm....I did that at work the other day! Was thinking of you while I was making your German Lemon Cake..its in the oven right now! Hope you get some rest and get back onto blogging!
ReplyDeleteMichelle
You're funny even when you're not around. Happy ugly Valentine's day!
ReplyDeleteIs that your cat, Jayme? You must introduce it. Look forward to another post soon. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteSometimes we all have other things we have to tend to. Glad all is okay with you.
ReplyDeleteI watched your video of you walking to the neighbors house during the blizzard.. Goodness to be girl...that was quite a trip.. I laughed throughout the whole thing. Glad that the neighbor brought you home on his four-wheeler. We had that same blizzard and I'm tellin you it was no fun...I have never seen so much snow, wind and just plain awful looking at it outside. All life stopped around here, no traffic, nothing was moving.. Just glad the electric didn't go off.
ReplyDeleteWe received 15 inhces but I know you had at least 20 inches of snow. It was so beautiful~!..The next morning it was so still but the sun was shining.
Have missed you ~! I love your blog and what you post..
Have a tiggeriffic day~!
Ta Ta For Now from Iowa~!:)
HiDeeHo! Glad you are ok. I love your drivel. I personally babble, but that's another story. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Jayme, I just ran across your blog the other day as I sat at home from a snow day! I so enjoyed your video of your brave treck to your neighbors. I read back quite aways into your blog. I have so enjoyed your wittyness. I added you to my favs and will be checking back often. Also loved your memories of your little neighbor lady and the childhood memories. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you are fine and will be back. So much fun to see what your next subject will be. You brighten alot of ladies' days. Peggy
ReplyDeleteGlad everything is okay with you. I was thinking about you today and hoping all was well. Amazing how we connect with people and worry when we don't hear from them.
ReplyDeleteI thought maybe you had submitted your video to Hollywood and they had whisked you off for stardom...yep..that's what I was thinking. Hugs to you- Diana
Oh, that kitty brings back memories from last Valentines Day and all those scary vintage cards you posted. That was so fun.
ReplyDeleteNice kitty.
How could we not miss you? Feeling driveless? You MUST be sick or something! Glad to hear from you. I too had begun to wonder...

I've missed you too, but my hubby has missed you even more. One day I had left your blog open on my screen & he started reading and laughing. I don't know how much time he spent going back through your posts. We are glad you are OK.
ReplyDeleteI was getting worried! You must be having spring fever after the warm weather yesterday! Got up to 37 over here!
ReplyDeleteI gotcha. And miss ya! I think maybe that should be a Halloween spooky cat rather than a love inspiring cat. Just sayin'.

So glad your ok :) I was thinking oh nooo she hasnt had electricity for all this time or that fall you took in the blizzard had done some damage! Glad to hear all is well :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are doing goooooooood.
ReplyDeleteI have been too busy too. Too.
Glad to know that you're alive. But then, I didn't expect otherwise. We all know you're much too considerate to kill over during the cold winter when the ground is frozen and digging is impossible. You wouldn't want to cause anyone the inconvenience, so when you do go, it'll be just after a rainy season when the ground is still soft for digging, but the rain has passed so those who come to pay respects will have fair weather to do it in!
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. I really don't expect you to kill over at all. You have too much life in you. You'll probably hold out for the rapture.
Hey Lady, I’ve been crazy busy too this week. Glad you are well and glad you got your internet back too :) Spring is coming!! :)
ReplyDeleteAmy
Drivel is good. And.. I think if I got that kitty Valentine I'de run the other way! He is meant for another holiday, I think!
ReplyDeletemaybe this warmer weather and snow melting will cheer your spirits

Call of the search. Turns out she's just busy. LOL Thanks for letting us (me) know!
ReplyDeleteMy wife loves your blog. She's not one to comment though so I thought I would. Your videos were hilarious. She made me watch them. Very funny.
ReplyDeleteDan
Happy Valentines Day Jayme! I'm glad you are ok. I had a rough week last week and was wondering if maybe you had the same kind of week. Glad you are fine and just doing what you should have been doing all along. Just post when you FEEL LIKE IT!
ReplyDeleteHey Spring is on the way. It's going to get in the high 50's here! I think I'm going to have to plant something, at least in a pot. I have got to get my hands dirty!
