Ok, so I'm sitting here getting ready to pop my first Xanax of the day.
'Tis Dentist day again.
I have to leave in thirty minutes, to go to the grocery store before my 3pm appointment. (My week has been all catty-wompus, schedule-wise).
I don't want to start something I can't finish.
So I Google.
I so love Google.
'Creepy Vintage Valentine's' yielded these gems:
A timely Valentine, given the fact that I'm on the way to the dentist. I momentarily pondered printing it out for Dr. Dimples.
I can't think of a comment for this one.
Dear JenJen, I hope this doesn't prompt you to use your potty mouth.
This is the Valentine that I got this year.
Last creepy Valentine...I promise, cause how can you top some mad love from a feral cat?
I can't help myself, but I do believe this is the end of them.....
I just find them SO funny, and creepy, and interesting.
I love Google.
hahahhahahha...They are creepy. Aaron is saying....Aunt Jayme ...do you have a fetish with creepy Valentines???? You are scaring me!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just nerves....lol. ME thinks somehow Valentines have taken on a whole new meaning over the years. Ya think?
Gotta try some of those recipes. I'll say a prayer for you at your sweet dentist appt. With a dentist like you have....It's gonna be all good. (snoot full of gas....)))
hugs.
Wow they are scary! Hope you make out okay at the dentist.
ReplyDeleteOMG this post made me pee my pants! Holy creepy!! :-D
ReplyDeleteps: good luck with the dentist!
ReplyDeleteCreepy is right. Only you, Jayme...only you! LOL.
ReplyDeleteJayme! How did you know I needed more creepy valentine humor therapy? I did! Thanks :) Those are fantabulous! Best wishes in your next dental adventure! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteYou are some kind of special, Jayme. How many people who would be on their way to the dentist in just a few would take the time to share Valentines with us...creepy or no!
ReplyDeleteHope this weeks dentist appointment goes as well as last weeks. Hard to believe it's been a whole week already!
How's that doll house coming along?
Not sure what to say... they ARE creepy! Ughhhhh! Gives me the shivers!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck at the Dentist. How can you complain when your have such a great dentist with those dimples. But, I know the thought of the chair, needles, gas, drill, bib, etc gives me the creeps...And, so do those cards. Oh, my those are a little weird.
ReplyDeleteHave a good evening...
OMG! I think those are going to give me nightmares! LOL Thanks for giving me my laugh for the day.
ReplyDeleteWith Valentines like this...Id go for The Nitrous Oxide (Sweet Air), Dianne
ReplyDeleteCreepy indeed, and yes that 'thing' should be shot. I laughed so hard when I read that! : )
ReplyDeleteHope it went well this afternoon.
~Andrea~
Jayme -
ReplyDeleteYou could do an entire blog just posting vintage cards with captions and I would be here daily to get my dose of laughter.
Have a great time with Cindy this weekend!
- Deborah
Hahaha, too creepy! Good luck with your dentist appt.
ReplyDeleteYes they are creepy for sure! I read your post on filling your valentines cans earlier today and wanted to tell you what a great idea that was. I think I need to save cans. I have recycling going on for plastics and paper I think I should do more. I would like to share my post from today with you because I linked back to your blog on it. http://brtowsleyblogs.blogspot.com/2010/02/alphabe-thursda.html Had to give credit where credit was due you know. Hope your home and not feeling to far under the weather!
ReplyDeleteI feel that my thoughts on this topic would be best described by the chorus to a Michael Jackson (RIP) song:
ReplyDeleteKeep On With The Force Don't Stop
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
Keep On With The Force Don't Stop
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
Keep On With The Force Don't Stop
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
Keep On With The Force Don't Stop
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
I want to pretend V-day is in TWO Sundays, just so I get some more of this mad, wonky, terrifying, shuddery, sick-at-my-stomach love.
Hope things went well today, Jayme. Thanks for the daily dose of Halloween Valentines....and Jen's comment yesterday cracked me up! It's kind of your involuntary reaction when you first see them.
ReplyDeleteI am not suppose to laugh! I had dental surgery yesterday. (so I LITERALLY feel your pain) I'm totally not to smile, sneeze, spit or laugh!
ReplyDeleteThey'll need to restitch. And they accept Visa. Thank-you.
Donna
Hope all went well at the dentist! Those cards bring back memories.
ReplyDeleteLove the valentines!! Where is Aaron??? Good luck at the dentist.
ReplyDeletejan
How was your dental visit? I hope all went well for you! :) That denture valentine is still cracking me up!! I actually laughed out loud and scared my kitty! HAAAAAA!
ReplyDeleteYou can always find the perfect thing to go with whatever post, I love Google too! Happy Valentine's Day Jayme!
ReplyDeleteYou creeped me out, Valentine!!! Have a great day, and thanks for the smiles!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that little lamb one is the best. So unlamb like!
ReplyDeleteMaureen
I am a dentist phobe...so Nitrous Oxide is my friend. I think I need to start asking for the mask the second I hit the waiting room. Loving the cookies from your previous post, today just might be a baking kind of day afterall! Good luck at the dentist. Hope its over fast for you. I totally get it. ~mary~
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what amazes me the most - that someone made these up, that someone approved them and printed them for sale, that someone sold them, or that someone would actually give these to someone. Wow!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonder that Valentine's Day even exists because if I had gotten one of those cards, I would have been terrified of Valentine's Day!
