Watch Your Step

You know the saying 'back door guests are best'?
I'd agree.
Except for the poo.

The end.

  1. Too funny calling him Lord Grantham. Just love how easily amused you are. My husband has always said that of me too.

  5. Oh, I love it! The girls are all waiting to come in or waiting for a special Jayme treat? How cute! Lovely share for those of us that don't have a flock... :)

  6. YES!!! Free range sounds so romantic and wonderful. Til you step out your door. I'd love to have a pretty porch but the ladies (n friends) make it very difficult. So whenever we host real get togethers they must stay in chicken jail (their run). Don't even get me started on the goats! ;-)
love ya lady for keepin it real!

  9. I'm feeding the wild turkeys on our front walk, and like your chickens, they are leaving little piles of poo.

  10. The average small chicken flock produces a lot less manure than a pair of moderate sized dogs or housecats. More pests are attracted by the ignorant people who leave cat and dog food out in the yard or don't secure their garbage cans than by a properly maintained chicken coops for sale

  11. Love, love, love the rooster's name--Lord Grantham. Perfect.
P.S. Have you seen "Sybil" in Winter's Tale movie trailer with Colin Farrell? So THAT's where she went.
