  31. Oh. My I am crying I have laughed so hard, how that poor boy keeps his face straight, and holds it together and drives ,is beyond me. You are both NUTS. In the best way,
Home schooling looks like way too much fun, but on a serious note it also looks like you would have to be disciplined to get through that amount of work in one day.

  45. Jayme,

Easter 2009. Your very first post. The 4th line you published. "We ate til we were stuffed."

You've come a long way, Baby!

I say the second and third photographs have captured your spirit.

    Happy Spring, my friend.
    Deborah

PS You do realize you could have run in 2009. No one needs to reach a goal to start doing the things they think they can't. (I am always doing things I can't do, that's how I get to do them.)

  46. Dear Jayme,

I'm from the UK and I love your blog. I love the fact that you're an older woman blogging - I'm in my late 50s and much as I adore the young mothers and their blogs it is nice to hear the standpoint of someone NEARLY my age - but you've got the humour and mischief of a 6 year old. The Helene video had me in stitches. You are so funny and your nephew tries so hard to keep a straight face. It is so obvious that he adores you. I was widowed young and brought up three boys on my own - I would have given the earth for them to have an aunt like you. Your sister is so fortunate. Your nephew is a handsome and lovely young man. You must be so proud of him. And your blog is so interesting, the beautiful pix of your house - I'm ashamed to say I covet your house - fortunately since I live in the UK there is no danger of me coming over and staging a sit in. But I would really like to see a few pix of the exterior. There are some tantalizing glimpses.

Thank you so much for making me feel like I know you, for making me laugh and for warming my heart.

    Sylvia.
